The breakfast meal was marvellous and delicious with omelets and homemade pancakes, as example. Staff were efficient, room was beautifully maintained and romantic with a view. The location was magnificent, steps away from Dam Square.

We had room 116: It is claustrophobic small, very dark and the bathroom is actually cheeky because of the room size. But: the affectionate service during breakfast as also at the reception made up for a lot. Our tip: stay away from room 116! The rest is really great!

Staff, breakfast, room: everything is fine.
This is rather a personal opinion. I don't like dark hotels, but in an old city, and certainly on the canals, the buildings are of course small, and therefore often dark inside.
